jWeb New Media Design Wins Two Communicator Awards for Client Web Sites
Annual international competition honors the best in corporate communications
May 16, 2006, St. Charles, MO – jWeb New Media Design has done it again. jWeb was honored with two Awards of Distinction in the 2006 Communicator Awards international competition, for overall site design on two clients' web sites. jWeb was awarded for their work on the Steaks of St. Louis website www.steaksofstlouis.com), and the site they designed for St. Louis-based True Advantage Fitness (www.trueadvantagefitness.com).
The two 2006 Communicator Awards mark the second and third time jWeb's work has been recognized by the Communicator Awards. The firm also received a 2005 award of distinction for its work on The National Children's Cancer Society website.
"We've built jWeb on the principle of providing solutions that meet our clients' everyday needs and help them overcome their own specific challenges," jWeb Principal Amy Comparato said. "That focus drives us to build the tools they need to develop consistent, effective communication with their audience."
More than 5,200 entries were submitted for consideration for this year's competition. From that group, only a select number were awarded.
The Communicator Awards is an international awards competition founded by communication professionals to recognize excellence in the communication field. The Annual Awards Competition gives winners and their clients the recognition that the work they are producing is outstanding and highly regarded by their peers.
Earlier this year, the Steaks of St. Louis site was also nominated for the 2006 Webby Awards, the leading international award program honoring excellence in web design, creativity, usability and functionality.
jWeb has also been honored locally as the Best Web Design Firm in St. Charles County for the past 5 consecutive years in the annual Business Choice Awards sponsored by the St. Charles County Business Record.
